The Children’s Health Expo, jointly organized by the Health and Children’s Ministries Departments of the Chinese Union Mission, the Children, Family, and Health Ministries Departments of the Hong Kong-Macau Conference, and Sam Yuk Kindergarten (Yuen Long), was successfully held on the morning of March 29. Through interactive games, participants learned the eight principles of healthy living (Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunshine, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust). The event aimed to promote health education to the students and parents of Sam Yuk Kindergarten while sharing the message of trusting in God.
A total of 25 families were served that day, with approximately 17 teachers, 9 staff members, and 12 volunteers from various churches participating in the service.
Parental feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many stating: "The activities were diverse, and the staff were very friendly!", "The event helped parents and young children establish healthy lifestyle habits," and "After the activity, the children have become more proactive about staying hydrated and maintaining a balanced diet."
We are grateful for the seamless cooperation between the departmental secretaries, the teachers of Sam Yuk Kindergarten (Yuen Long), and the volunteers, which allowed the entire event to run smoothly. It is our prayer that the message of healthy living and the love of God will take root in the hearts of these children from a young age.
