At every session, the focus is on who will be the New Administrative Officer. This year's nominative committee spent a lot of time praying and discussing together, and finally elected the President, Pastor Heywood Cham (re-elected), the Administrative Secretary, Pastor Timothy Siu (new elected), and the Treasurer, Elder Philip Wong (re-elected).
The executive editor of "Last Day Shepherd's Call" immediately invited the three administrative officer to accept a brief interview after the meeting. He hoped that brothers and sisters would support them with prayer and lead the development of the Hong Kong-Macao Conference in the next five years under the leadership of God. …

Question: How did you feel when you knew that you were elected as the new President of the Hong Kong-Macao Conference?
Heywood: When I knew that I will continue to serve as the President, I have thought about it for a while and feel that if God wants me to do it, I will continue to do it. Because I have been in this job for nine years, I thought it should come to an end. But as long as God's will is for me to continue doing it, I will accept it.
Question: After accepting the position as "President", did you immediately think that there was/were a ministry to be implemented in what area?
Heywood: I think there are several ministries that I will work hard to implement during this five-year term:
1. In response to the "rooted in the Bible and focused on mission" advocated by the General Conference, we encourage everyone to implement it in all churches.
2. "OneVoice27" will be held in 2027, which is also the 2,000-year anniversary of the anointing of Jesus. I hope that by leading more people to believe in the Lord, we can strengthen the promotion of the image of Hong Kong-Macao Conference through the media.
3. In the spiritual devotion of the first day of the meeting, Pastor Daniel Jiao reminded everyone to equip church members and revisit the fundamental beliefs of SDA church. I hope to encourage all churches to do it together.
4. Disciple training: I hope that the spiritual foundation of church members are solid, so I hope to strengthen the training.
5. The history of the development of the gospel work of Hong Kong-Macao Conference must be systematically preserved, so as not to let the precious historical data of the past be lost.
6. To strengthen church members' understanding of the Hong Kong-Macao Conference, consider using brochures or e-books to give church members a certain understanding and background of our SDA church, and they are also happy to share with relatives and friends around them.
7. Have closer ties and cooperation with Chinese Union Mission, so that the ministries of various departments can be carried out more vigorously.
8. Each church can develop into a community church to serve the local community.
9. Spiritual training for youth ministry.
Question: What do you wish your brothers and sisters to pray for you in particular?
Heywood: I hope you all pray for the following matters:
1. I plead for God to give wisdom and have a good cooperative relationship with the new administrative team.
2. I hope to have a stable team, and to have the wisdom given by God to make appropriate decisions in arranging the work arrangements of officers in various departments and ministers in various churches.
3. I hope to have a healthy body.

Question: How did you feel when you knew that you were selected as the new Administrative Secretary of Hong Kong-Macao Conference?
Timothy: The feeling at that moment was like Moses asking in the midst of bush, "Who am I?" "In the same way, I really wonder if I am capable enough to be qualified for this position.
Thank the Lord, with humility and trembling, I accepted the position as "Administrative Secretary".
Question: After accepting the position of "Administrative Secretary", did you immediately think of any aspect of ministry to be implemented?
Timothy: In my new position, I immediately emerged and hope to actively promote two goals:
1. Encourage theological students to serve full-time: It is expected that in Hong Kong, more theological students will be encouraged to devote themselves to be serving in missionary full-time work after graduating from theology.
2. Promote disciple training: To undertake the vision of the General Conference and help promoting the ministry of "disciple training", I am convinced that this is also urgently needed by our church.
Question: What do you wish your brothers and sisters to pray for you in particular?
Timothy: Because I feel that I am not capable enough, I implore you to pray for the following two things in particular:
1. Pray for wisdom: I pray that the Lord will give me wisdom from above (as Solomon asked) so that I have enough ability and insight to face and deal with the challenges of my new position.
2. Pray for the family: After assuming this position, I believe that my wife's hard work in the family will increase, and I may also need more meeting time. Pray that the Lord will protect my family and strengthen my wife.

Question: How did you feel when you knew that you were selected as the new Treasurer of the Hong Kong-Macao Conference?
Philip: I am very grateful to everyone for their trust. Thank you to the co-workers in the treasurer's office for their hard work in the past.
Question: After accepting the position of "Treasurer", what aspect of ministry did you immediately think of to be implemented?
Philip: Some work will continue to be processed. For example, the relocation of churches in Siu Sai Wan, San Po Kong and Tsuen Wan is expected to be completed within three months. In addition, follow up on the development projects of Ventris Road. Also, to encourage some people with financial gifts to become candidates for church treasurers in the future.
Question: What do you wish your brothers and sisters to pray for you in particular?
Philip: Please pray for the following matters in particular:
1. Pray for health: I hope God will give me a healthy body to continue working for him.
2. Pray for the economy of the church: I hope that brothers and sisters have faith in God, pay faithfully in all aspects, and believe that God will take care of them.
