On the recently past Sabbath (June 28), the annual MountainView Pathfinder Club promotion and award ceremony came to a successful conclusion. As a member of the MountainView Pathfinder Club leader, I have spent the past two years learning and witnessing growth alongside the members, deeply feeling God's grace and protection.
Reflecting on the past, when I was of a similar age to the current members, I participated in the Jump Club established by MountainView Church, which is the predecessor of the Pathfinder Club. At that time, I joyfully learned various skills, received honor certificates, and participated in outdoor activities with church partners, growing under the Lord's guidance. Unfortunately, the mentor at that time left Hong Kong due to a job transfer, and the important ministry was left without leadership for a while, causing the Jump Club to be suspended for several years. It wasn't until I left Hong Kong to study abroad that other leaders reestablished what is now the MountainView Pathfinder Club.
Time flies, and decades have passed in the blink of an eye. Guided by God, I returned to Hong Kong and completed the 19th Master Guide Training Program, becoming one of the leaders of the Pathfinder Club. Although my role has changed, my original intention remains the same. I hope to use the MountainView Pathfinder Club to attract more young people to know the Lord, allowing every member and leader to shine like little candles in these last days, radiating God's light and spreading the Gospel to everyone around them.
