Major responsibilities of the job include:
1. Faithfully promote Christian Education, showing respect to and confidence in the Church,
and for Christian Education.
2. Work alongside the classroom teacher to facilitate student learning
3. Under instruction from the teacher, guide/lead children in individual and small group activities
4. Through constant observation, gather and document information and report to the teacher on children’s progress
5. Assist in the set-up and tidying away of classroom activities
6. Ensure active commitment to the safeguarding, protection, and well being of students at all times
Qualifications:
• Applicants should be enthusiastic and willing to give full support to the teaching team within the elementary school
• Qualifications in Early Childhood Education is essential
• Excellent proficiency in English is required
• Have experience working with young children and enjoy working in a play-based environment which promotes inquiry
