Tropical Cyclones & Black/Red Rainstorm Signal

Arrangements for Churches

Weather condition Action to be taken during Signal No. 8 or Above;

Or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal :

✧    When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisting at 8:00 a.m. or after, all Adventist churches would be temporary closed, and church activities would be suspended.

✧    When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal are cancelled at 8:00 a.m. or before, all Adventist churches would resume Sabbath worship services, but outdoor activities would still be suspended.

Weather condition Action to be taken during Signal No. 3;

Or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal :

※ Black Signal revised to Red Signal

✧    When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3, or RED Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisting at 8:00 a.m. or after, outdoor meetings or activities would still be suspended.

✧    If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 is hoisting during outdoor meetings or activities, all activities should be ceased immediately, workers and instructors should make a proper dismissal arrangement to return safely.

Weather condition Action to be taken during Signal No. 1 :

✧    When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 is hoisting, outdoor meetings or activities can be continued as usual in principle if the weather condition is still suitable, but if the weather suddenly turns bad, these activities would be terminated.

※        All ministerial workers of the Hong Kong-Macao Conference should offer appropriate service to the members and interests of the churches during the period of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8, or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal.
