Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and systems management, preferably within an educational institution.
• Professional certifications (CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, server and virtualization platforms, Learning Management Systems, telephony, CCTV, and AV systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing, motivating, and developing IT teams, as well as negotiating and overseeing vendor performance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• High level of integrity and a strong commitment to maintaining IT security and data confidentiality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
• Flexibility to occasionally support school events/activities outside of regular working hours.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance, security, and optimization of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks (routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi), storage, databases, and cabling.
• Administer and support core platforms, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, virtualization technologies, email systems, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage and maintain the College's Learning Management System (LMS) and other academic software.
• Ensure the smooth and reliable operation of all IT systems in classrooms, labs, library, and administrative offices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and manage the annual IT budget, oversee procurement and lifecycle of all hardware and software assets.
• Lead, coordinate, and execute IT projects independently and manage all vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, service level agreement monitoring, and performance evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive IT policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain robust security controls, conduct regular security assessments, and proactively address potential vulnerabilities to safeguard sensitive data.
• Supervise, mentor, and support the IT team.
• Provide technical support for audio-visual systems used in school activities/events.
